The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, New Brunswick Chapter (CPAWS NB) is proud to announce its new "Watch Your Paws" nature education program for children! The goals of this program are to educate children about natural habitats and protected areas in our province and to encourage responsible action in nature. Having consulted with Directors of Elementary and Secondary Curriculum in English and French School Districts, this 1 hour program has been developed and is offered free of charge to children in grades 4 and 7. Each session will include a brief overview of natural area and habitat concepts, followed by entertaining and interactive hands-on activities. The general theme is promoting responsible behaviour in nature and is consistent with curriculum outcomes for these grades. We hope you will consider scheduling a "Watch Your Paws" session for your classroom and are excited about sharing our love of nature with your students! This program is being put on in conjunction with our partner, Cogent Consortium Inc. To book a presentation for your school, class or youth group, contact:
