Help Safeguard the Nature in New Brunswick Provincial Parks

After several years of decreasing investment in parks, CPAWS welcomes the New Brunswick government’s announcement that it will fund the revitalization of trails, campsites and enforcement at Mount Carleton and Sugarloaf Provincial Parks.  These parks, along with Mactaquac Provincial Park and The Anchorage in southern New Brunswick, are important natural areas that protect expanses of habitat for wildlife and provide spectacular outdoor recreation and educational opportunities. 

 

CPAWS New Brunswick applauds this investment, and encourages the province to take further steps to protect and promote our parks.  CPAWS NB is asking New Brunswick to establish park management plans that focus on conserving the wilderness character of the parks, and develop park interpretive programs that will help visitors experience these special natural places.

 

You can help us promote the natural values of parks in New Brunswick!
