The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, New Brunswick Chapter (CPAWS NB) staff recently visited the Hubbard Avenue Elementary School in Oromocto to present recognition certificates and gifts to the school and one of its grade 5 students, Matthew Baxter. Matthew and his school-mates raised over $300 to help support CPAWS NB’s wilderness conservation work in New Brunswick. Matthew organized putting up posters in the school, a penny drive, cupcake sale and an Earth Day sock hop to raise funds for CPAWS and raise awareness of wilderness conservation in our province. Great job, Matthew, and thanks again!
